All Industry Drawback

The  All Industry Drawback is allowed under All Industry Drawback Rules 1995. This drawback is mainly eligible to  all Exporters, exporting indian manufactured items to foreign buyers, to help recover some cost portion to sale products in comparative rates.
The percentage of drawback is fixed by Ministry of Finance and Revenue, for 2017-2018 under notification no.89/2017 dt. 22/09/2017 effective from 01/10/2017, directing custom to distribute DBK under section 75 of Customs Act 1962, according to items as listed in chapters 1 to 97 & as per H S code alloted  for all the items under Export.
The drawback is credited through RTGS/NEFT to respective Bank account opted out by exporter in their export documents and Shipping Bill.
This drawback is not entitled if the export is made under some of the schemes ie where the  raw material is imported under Duty free import and subsequently exported the finished product.
