Policy condition amended for import of “Low Ash Metallurgical Coke” – HS code 2704 having ash content below 18% is placed under countrywise quantity restriction for the period January 2025 to June 2025. If ash content is above 18%, there is no restriction.
Import of Yellow Peas under ITC (HS) Code 07131010 is allowed free subject to registration in IMS where BL date is on or after 28.02.2025.

Parts of Cigarette Lighters under HS Code 96139000 is “Restricted”.
N.O.C is not required from Drug Controller & Narcotics Commissioner of India, in case of procurement of “Acetic Anhydride” from SEZ by an Adv Authn holder against certificate of supplies.
It is clarified that import authorization or registration under (IMS) Import Monitoring System is not required for import/re-import of “Exhibit and Samples” for demo, display. It is subject to compliance of para 2.60 HBP-23.
Appendix 10-M is amended adding the expanded & new items for SCOMET category 8 under GAICT – Global Authorisation for Intra-Company Transfer.
It is clarified that RCMC is not required for availing benefits on post export Remission based schemes i.e. Drawback, RoSCTL and RoDTEP. It is not required for Restricted items also.
Policy condition modified from 16.10.2024 for export of meat & meat product under “Halal” category as certified by the “Indian Conformity Assessment Scheme (I – CAS) – Halal” of the Quality Council of India (QCI).
It is clarified that those MSME manufacturer already availed benefit of Rs.50 lakhs under Interest Equalisation Scheme (IES) as on 30.9.24 will not be eligible for any further benefit during extended period upto 31.12.24.
